This painting was inspired by those peaceful moments in nature when we are at one with our natural environment. Where can we find the extraordinary in the ordinary, in our everyday
life? A moment to set our intentions or offer a prayer for peace for ourselves and others, knowing that when we find it within ourselves first, it ripples out to all around us through the web of life.
 
Hummingbirds are very sacred to me and remind us to take a moment to connect with the beauty of life, appreciate the magic of being alive, and acknowledge the truth in the beauty of you. The symbolism of the lotus here also reminds us that even through the darkness, we can emerge into beauty on the other side of that and find beauty in the journey itself, knowing that all situations change and transform when we push through and trust in the process of life within ourselves.
 
The dragonflies have a lot of symbolism; here they are to remind us of renewal, hope, and new beginnings when we come home to ourselves in the heart.
